LOUISVILLE -- Today, Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) issued the following statement regarding President Obama's decision to delay executive action to curb deportations for some undocumented immigrants:

"Republican Leadership in Congress has spent the past two years blocking and undermining attempts -- even bipartisan ones -- to fix our broken immigration system. And while they criticize the President and politicize this issue again today, thousands of families continue to suffer and face hardship because Congress won't act on comprehensive immigration reform."
