Rep. Yarmuth to Hold Louisville Town Hall with House Gun Violence Task Force Chairman March 5, 2020
LOUISVILLE – Tonight at 6:00pm ET, Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) will hold a Town Hall event to discuss gun violence prevention in the auditorium at Atherton High School. Joining Yarmuth for the event will be Congressman Mike Thompson (CA-5), who serves as Chairman of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force in Congress. The Congressmen will engage in a conversation about gun violence prevention, moderated by Sadiqa Reynolds of the Louisville Urban League, and take questions from the audience. Additional guest speakers will also participate. This event is free and open to the general public and all members of the media. The event will also be livestreamed on the Congressman’s Facebook page. NOTE: All attendees must enter through the school’s Emerson Entrance at the corner of Dundee Road and Emerson Avenue.
