Yarmuth: GE's Appliance Park Awarded $24.8 Million in Recovery Act Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credits

 

( Louisville, KY ) Today, Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) released the following statement in response to the news that more than $24.8 million in tax credits from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has been awarded to GE’S Appliance Park to create jobs and generate investment:

 

“With its work at Appliance Park, GE consistently proves it is a worldwide leader in innovation, on the forefront of developing the new technologies that will drive economic growth for decades to come,” said Congressman Yarmuth. “By investing in this work, the Recovery Act is helping re-establish the U.S. as a global technology leader while spurring local business expansion and creating jobs right here in Louisville.”
